September 2007 holds a networking event held by Dun & Bradstreet,
co-sponsored by ABN AMRO Bank at Le Tonkin. This event is in relevance to
the ‘Top 1000 Performing Companies in Asia Pacific 2006’ publication.
This annual
publication by D&B is an independent & objective ranking, aimed to recognize
companies that have achieved the highest return on equity. The top 1000
companies are chosen and ranked from among 14,000 listed and 430,000
unlisted companies registered through 12 countries. This publication allows
globalizing companies to assess and check their readiness for overseas
expansion and benchmark against the top performers.
For this event,
D&B had invited personnel of executive level from companies in Singapore and
Malaysia that were ranked in the 2006 publication and other key industry
players. They formed the main essence of this networking event. Dun &
Bradstreet hopes to allow personnel coming from these different successful
companies to network as well as share their experiences. This event had
lucratively drawn in individuals nearing a hundred for the evening.
The event was
kick-start by D&B’s Executive Director, Mr William Lim, who addressed crowd
by expressing his special thanks to ABN AMRO, and as a point of interest he
shared the main highlights of the 2006 publication of the ‘Top 1000
Performing Companies in Asia Pacific’ as well as an overview of the latest
2007 publication. Guests were romanced by the jazz band onsite along with
delectable food and wine under the starry night. As a memory of this
unforgettable event, each guest walks away with an instant MyStamp.

aims to host this networking event annually, targeted to draw in at least a
hundred representatives from the companies ranked as the top 1000 performing
companies in Asia Pacific.
